This program
is for you?

YES If you are a professional psychologist who would like to discover tools to work from the perspective of well-being. The prevailing medical model focuses on the symptom or what the person lacks. PosPsy gives you scientific endorsement for what you are probably already doing intuitively.

YES If you love learning and discovering new ways to practice your profession, Positive Psychology will bring you a change of approach that has been shown to increase well-being and general satisfaction with life and even reduce symptoms of depression and the presence of anxiety.

YES If you are looking for practical training and want to develop yourself to another level as a professional. There are so many courses that sometimes it's difficult to choose which one is the best for this moment. One of the keys that usually helps in this decision is to ask yourself whether the course will really help you set everything in motion quickly and easily as a professional. This is one of the aspects of this program that was highly-valued by former students and that you can consult on Google where they rate us 4.8 stars out of 5.

YES If you want to live a personal development experience. Psychologists are professionals who are used to being those who help, to giving their knowledge to encourage the growth of others. Sometimes we forget how important and rewarding it can be to receive these techniques ourselves. Living Positive Psychology from within will give you a different vision of its effect.

Paradigm
shift

NO

It is not a symptom-centered approach.

It is not a competence-centered approach.

It is not a place to learn by downloading PDFs.

It is not based on intuition but on the scientific method.

Real case

Almudena starts
managing a team

Almudena is 36 years old, she's a chemical engineer who came to Spain from Brazil to work as a market analyst in one of the most important banks in the country.

Almudena has been in her position for 4 years, she has very good feedback from her boss. She's a very committed woman, who likes to do things very well and with great attention to detail. She feels comfortable working alone, in fact she prefers it because that way she goes at her own pace and does things her way.

A week ago they proposed a promotion. She's very excited because she will be able to upgrade to a professional category and earn more. What would it entail? a change of functions: she has to start managing teams and that doesn’t excite her so much, in fact she's quite worried, because she knows that it is going to be hard for her. That was the reason why she decided to start a coaching process.

When we had the session where we established the objective and linked it to her strengths, leadership stood out, which was in orange, and cooperation was in blue, meaning she was sometimes too dominant and it was difficult for her to work as a team. I could have focused on increasing cooperation, which was her demand, as it is usually done in coaching, but strengths coaching follows a different approach. That is why we looked among her balanced strengths for a resource that would give us an idea. And suddenly, the strength of charisma showed up.

Almudena had a special ability to find the strengths of others and make them see them, she felt safe doing that, she used to do it frequently and felt that it was a good way to start working with her new team.

As a coach, using the FORTE Method has allowed me to be more effective and enjoy my vocation more. Now I can provide the client a vision of themselves from minute 1 of the first session, I can ask questions to explore answers from their strengths and not so much from their weaknesses. In short, it is a method with which I feel strongly identified and wouldn’t want to work without it nowadays.
